Vintage Black & Clear Rhinestone Ring, Marked Sterling, Sz. 4.5. This has an 11mm by 5mm marquise black stone that is believed to be glass with a halo of clear rhinestones. The ring is also marquise shape at 18mm long and 11.5mm wide. Tiered design. It is marked sterling but it could be plated - it tests as sterling and then the test area lightens slightly - it definitely has an anti-tarnish treatment. It is in very good condition. Weight of the right is papx. 5.40 gr. It is not signed by the maker - marked sterling with another mark that was not a complete strike and therefore cannot be read. Age is estimated at 1960's-1970's - but could be later. (W12322.9 AZ J LD 1/12/23).
