Vintage Pointed Bar Brooch, Purple Stone, 2.25", C-Clasp Signed G.T. It s has a c-clsp, is testing as 10kt G.F. It has a bezel-set purple stone that does not test as amethyst - likely glass. It does not have a magnetic reaction to a rare earth magnet. It is appx. 1/4" wide, slightly over at the center. Weight is appx. 2.47 gr. The frame has a stamped scrolled design. The only marking were G.T. on the c part of the clasp. Acid testing was positive at 10kt and 9kt but did not stay positive for more than a few minutes - believe this to be gold plated. It is a white gold plated. Unknown maker for G.T. Uncertain as to age - it has the look of late 1800's into the very early 1900's but it could be a new retro style piece. Very good condition.
