Vintage Sterling Heart Moissanite Necklcae, 20" Black Cord Chain, Signed CW. The pendant has a heart bail from which a heart shaped pendant drops with a heart moissanite stone set on top. The stones test as moissanite and not glass. Technically they test as diamonds but this sized diamond would not be on a sterling pendant. The pendant is appx. 1" long with the heart bail and is appx. 3/4" wide. It has a raised heart on top that is appx. 7.5mm tall and 6.5mm wide for a stone that is appx. 1CTW . There are pave-set matching moissanite stones in a heart halo around the stow in two tows - the outer row is larger at appx. 1.5mm and the inner are appx. 1mm wide. It is marked sterling and tested with a weight of appx. 3.90 gr. The chain is not original to this piece but looks good on it. It is an 18"-20" 1.5mm round black leather-like cord with lobster clasp. 18" with 2" extender chain. The pendant is signed CW. Age is appx. 1980's-1990's. Very good condition.
