Description
Vintage Sterling Faux 1882 Coin Earrings, Clip, 1960's. These have a 3/4" round faux E. Pluribus Unum faux coin with the year 1882. They are marked sterling on the back and test as sterling with an appx. 3.0 gr on the coins. The clips are not sterling. The one coin has a little dark spot ont he front which I have mostly polished away post photos as well as on the back. They will polish easily. Very good condition other than the marks as mentioned. The coins dangle from a bar like design that sits on the font of the lobe to give them the look of pierced earings. They are not signed by the maker. The clips are sturdy.
