Vintage 1920's-1930's Petrified Wood Necklace, 16". This has a textured brass tone chain that is 16" long with a filigree box clasp and is appx. 5.5mm wide. It has a dull rough finish as the costume necklace often due from that period. The pendant I believe is black petrified wood with dark brown markings in vertical lines. the nugget has a filigree brassy tone cap that attaches to the chain and the pendant is appx. 1" long and 3/4" wide and is chunky at appx. 11.5mm thick. The clasp is shinier than the chain. It is not marked or signed. True vintage necklace and great for someone who likes the rustic look. The pendant could be repurposed too. It is polish and is smooth and shiny and has the weight of wood - more than a stone of the sme size. It is in good vintage condition. (W111222.5 SS9129 J LD 12/27/22).
