Vintage Pair of Twin Black Glass Brooches, Mourning 1.25", 1800's. This is a pair of black glass mourning pins - they are in a safety pin style of clasp and look like likke bows with dotted glass beads separated with a single round 3.5mm glass beads. I have a friend who collectos mourning jewelry and said that often matching small pins were for twins. I am not sure that is true but the little pins are twins of each other and it would make sense. The mechanism is a brassy gold done and the pins are in very good condition. (W10322.6 SS9248 J LD 1/9/23).
