Vintage Lee Sand MOP Lion Beaded Necklace 22", 1970's-1980's. The lion is black with inlaid white mother-of-pearl features to create the lion head. The pendant is appx. 3" talla nd 3.25" wide. The beaded necklace is appx. 10". It attaches to the top upper sides of the lion's head which gives the necklace the 22" length. There are white mother-of-pearl beads that are appx. 9mm round with black beads that are 11mm closest to the head and then 8mm the rest of the way down the length. This is a tiered oval gold tone decorative metal bead on each side that is appx. 1". There are also small gold spacer beads places on eithe side of the metal bead and the mother-of-pearl beds. It has a hook clasp. This is not signed Lee Sands but is believed to be Lee Sands - some pieces came in boxes marked Lee Sands but were not marked. Very good condition.
