Vintage Sterling Created Opal & CZ Ring, Sz. 8.75, Signed RJ. The opal which is a created oap, is appx. 7.5mm by 6mm oval. Four prongs hold the opal. The band has a bypass design with channel set appx. 1.2mm clear czs that one side meets the opal on the lower side, and the other on the higher and there is a small plain band that connects on the opposite side as well with open area between the stone and the band. The band is appx.6mm at the top and tapers to appx. 1.8mm at the back of the finger. It is marked sterling and tested and tests as sterling with a weight of appx. 2.62 grams. Age is appx. 1980's-1990's. Good to very good condition. Thorough polishing would make this look close to new or new. No damage. (W121722.1X1 SS9393 J LD 2/10/23)
