Description

17th-18th century, Ukraine/Russia. Gilt bronze, just over 1 5/8" (1.63”) height plus the suspension loop. Elegant form with a raised cross-centered. The charges above. Reverse plain, with scribed borders as with the earliest examples. Surface lightly textured from burial with details quite crisp and high relief. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
