18th Century Italian Walnut Chest

Description

A small sized Italian walnut chest from the early 18th century. This Italian chest of four drawers features carved column side posts, paneled drawers and sides and sits atop four petite bun feet. This tabletop chest, with it's rich walnut wood, has a smart locking mechanism whereas the user must first unlock the hinged bottom and work up through each consecutive drawer to unlock the next. Perhaps a great way to keep inquisitive little fingers at bay!
