A pair of tapering, painted Spanish wood columns from the early 20th century. This tall pair of antique pillars from Spain, each with a hand-painted, decorative finish, have octagonal-shaped and tapering bodies, with egg and dart trim about their tops, and resting on stacked octagonal bases. The color palette is primarily off-white, black, and bronze/gold, and there is a nicely aged patina throughout. Note that there are faint pencil lines that show where artist was planning to continue further painted embellishments to these (see images for more details). The base measures 18" diameter, with tops being 7.75 inches across. This early 20th century pair of Spanish columns stand approximately 6.7 feet tall, and will add fabulous architectural interest to your home.
