Description

A group of five Chinese cloisonné enamel objects including four miniature spice or condiment containers and one small vase.The four small containers are decorated with colorful floral cloisonné patterns against a dark blue ground and fitted with domed perforated lids. Such pieces were commonly used as condiment or spice containers on the table.The miniature vase is decorated with a lotus blossom design against a turquoise enamel ground with gilt accents. Cloisonné enamelware of this type reflects traditional Chinese decorative arts and craftsmanship.
