About the artist: Born June 29, 1904 in the village of Izluchye (now the Leningrad Region). Studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1937). Teacher by profession - D. Kardovsky. He worked in the field of easel painting. Awarded with medals. Member of the CPSU. Member of the Great Patriotic War. Participated in republican exhibitions since 1952. Major works: "Kozamliksky roses" (1952); Gathering Lavender (1957); "Near Sudak" (1960); Gurzuf (1961); Cass (1961) Bara and others. Lived and worked in Simferopol. He died on 8 February 1996.
