A pair of KPM porcelain figures, circa 1885,

each modelled as characters from the Commedia dell'arte, to include the Harlequin and Colombina, Harlequin modelled standing with one arm raised, holding a baton in the other, and wearing a diamond patterned costume with red, black and gilt enamels, wearing a white ruff and pale blue shoes, on a shaped scrolling base, the Colombina similarly modelled in contemporary costume and standing pose, both with finely painted facial features, with stamped, painted and incised marks, together with a pair of shaped pedestals, heighted in gilt

Condition Report:

With cracks and losses to the harlequin example. Loss to hands/ back and stick.

Colombina- with minor losses. rubbing to the decoration.
