A large mahogany campaign-style desk and matching chair, of recent manufacture, in the 19th century taste,

the desk with rectangular top, inset with a tooled green leather writing surface within a broad moulded mahogany border, the frieze fitted with three short drawers, each with recessed brass campaign-style handles and oval plate pulls, the corners strengthened with brass mounts, the desk arranged with twin pedestals, each with graduated drawers retaining matching brass fittings, together with a desk/ library chair, the padded rectangular back and seat upholstered in green buttoned leather, the shaped arms with leather pads and brass studded borders, the seat raised on a reeded mahogany column and quadripartite base with downswept legs terminating in brass caps and castors, allowing rotation
