This circa 1990s baroque pearl necklace features 28 lustrous freshwater cultured pearls strung in a continuous strand. Each pearl is unique in shape and surface texture, characteristic of baroque pearls, with a subtle graduated taper. The pearls are white with natural nacre striations and an approximate width of 1/2 inch each. The strand measures 15 3/4 inches in length and weighs 96.6 grams, offering a substantial and elegant presence when worn. The necklace is secured with a 14k yellow gold spring ring clasp, stamped “585” though the marking is worn due to age.
