About the Item
Designed as a coiled serpent, this Bulgari Serpenti watch is made from 18k gold, with each segment shaped to create a smooth fit around the wrist. The body is covered in glossy white enamel, incrusted by the gold hexagonal diamond set scales. The head of the serpent is pavé set with diamonds, with two pear shaped rubies serving as its striking eyes. The dial sits just under the head, concealed within a hinged mechanism. Unlike newer Serpenti watches that run on quartz, this one keeps its original 1425 calibre. It’s a movement that Vacheron Constantin made just for Bvlgari back in the late '60s and early '70s. The mix of ruby eyes, diamond details, and white enamel touches feels both bold and elegant, and undeniably luxurious. Dimensions: the head is 0.7” (18mm) wide; the bracelet fits up to 5” wrist. The weight is 174 grams. The watch comes with a letter of authenticity by Amanda Triossi, a renowned former curator of the Bvlgari Heritage Collection & Bvlgari Retrospective Exhibitions.
