Description
United States Barber dime struck at the Denver Mint in 1906. The Barber series, designed by Charles E. Barber and produced from 1892 to 1916, remains a classic representation of late 19th and early 20th century American coinage. This example bears the desirable ?D? mintmark on the reverse below the wreath, indicating production at the Denver Mint during the early years of that facility?s operation. Struck in 90% silver with a standard weight of 2.50 grams (0.07234 troy ounces of silver). A collectible early Denver issue from the widely collected Barber dime series.
