Title: 17' Tall Art Deco Style "Wings of the Republic" Angel Sculpture , 3 Available

Description: This 17-foot angel sculpture entitled "Wings of the Republic" is rendered in fiberglass, may be used inside or outside, and may be finished in silver or gold. There is a 4-week lead time for refinishing. It is perfect for a grand entrance to a home and venue. The angel replicates Oskar Hansen's 1936 "Winged Figures of the Republic," designed for the Hoover Dam. The original is bronze, 30 feet tall on Hoover Dam. Multiples of the sculpture may be produced upon request. History: Norwegian-born and naturalized American sculptor Oskar J.W. Hansen designed many of the sculptures on and around the Hoover Dam. His works also include the monument of the dedication plaza and a plaque to memorialize the workers. The sculpture was originally produced for the 1997 film "Buddy” starring Rene Russo. The statue was also used in "Batman & Robin" (1997) and "Catwoman" (2004) in addition to several music videos. Please contact the showroom for further details.
