Biography Zao Wou-ki (1920 -2013), widely regarded as one of the foremost Chinese contemporary painters of the 20th century, passed away at the age of 93. He was a Chinese-French painter. He was a member of the Acadmie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and many of his works are in art collectionsand Museums.
