Description:Direct from Paris, Another Truly Magnificent Find, 19th Century 2-piece Covered Sterling Silver Vegetable Server by One of France's Premier Silversmiths "Tetard Freres", Discrete Wealth Protection plus The Luxury and Sophistication of 19th Century France, You Can't Go Wrong Buying Quality - circa 1880s. This Piece is Truly a Stunning Work of Art, in "Like New" Condition and an Excellent Investment, Traditional French 19th Century Elegance, Craftsmanship and Quality, A True Family Heirloom for Generations - You Won't See Many Pieces Like This One. This is a amazing 2-piece covered soup/stew tureen. A magnificent example of the elegance and sophistication of 19th Century France, typically enjoyed by the French aristocracy. The vegetable server measures roughly 34.50 cm. across to the tips of the handles, the interior has a diameter of 25 cm., it stands approximately 30 cm. high to the top of the lid and weights a massive 2,466 grams. Each piece bears the French government's Head of the Minerva-1 hallmark certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver and the "Tetard Freres" sterling silver hallmark.
