Description:Description

A very important pair of sauce boats sitting on a oval raised pedestal foot. The quality and gauge of the sauce boats are very fine. There is an applied gadroon border for upper decorative highlights with a very stylish scroll handle. The sauce boats have a hand engraved contemporary coat of arms (maritial arms of George Augustus Henry Cavendish and his wife Lady Elizabeth Compton the crest is that of Cavendish) for importance.
