This is one of the finest sets of twelve shaped circular Georgian silver dinner plates available decorated with a supremely crisp shell and gadroon border and sumptuously hand engraved contemporary armorials etched at a ‘north’ ‘south’ positioning for probably two prominent families entwining?

Condition: Excellent throughout

Note: These plates are the finest set I have had in 50 years. The very important looking armorials are quite beautiful and probably two prominent families marrying?
