Iconic hair-pin end table was originally designed by Henry P. Glass in 1941. He created it at the time when materials and labor were scarce due to the war. His design is simple, sturdy and functional. During the 1950's Harold Cohen teamed up with Davis Pratt at the Pratt Institute of Design and applied this leg to many other chairs, tables and wrought iron furniture.
This table has been in my family for over 70 years. Our family had other pieces purchased from Davis Pratt and Harold Cohen that have been sold.
There are NOT any signatures or marker's marks on the table.
