Steve Lowtwait was born on August 22, 1973 in Deerfield, Illinois, USA. He created most of his illustrations during his time in Colorado.

He is now an art director, known for Big City Greens (2018), Legend of the Three Caballeros (2018) and Hey Arnold! (1996).

Acquired at an art gallery and frame shop in Boulder, CO in 2007.
