French Bronze 12-Arm Chandelier With Acanthus Leaf & Foliage Castings, Circa 1890

Description

French cast bronze chandelier featuring decorative castings depicting foliage. Late 19th century, circa 1890.

The chandelier displays acanthus leaf motifs and is finished with a bottom finial in the form of a cluster of grapes. It is fitted with high quality wax-dripped polystick candle covers in a honey color.

The wiring has been redone by an electrician for use with electric light bulbs.

Classically styled, this chandelier provides a beautiful focal point for any room. With twelve arms, it offers ample illumination while maintaining an elegant and traditional presence.
