A French Neoclassical, large-sized, carved-wood wall panel from the 19th century. This antique wall decoration from France has an elongated rectangular-shape and has been hand-carved in an elegant Neoclassical design of pots à feu (fire urns), ribbon bow-ties, and foliate garlands. The more natural wood at center is complimented by the gray wash on the outer frame. This 19th century French Neoclassical panel, just over 8 feet in length, would be a splendid wall decoration over a long buffet or console, or a fabulous way to add visual height over an entry way or window casing.
