Ray Elman, American (1955), is a prominent figure in the Provincetown art colony and co-founder of Provincetown Arts magazine. In 1989, he shifted his artistic focus from these abstract geometric works to large-scale mixed-media portraits of notable figures in the art and literary worlds.
