This is a striking, closely matched pair of antique Chinese wedding or gift buckets (circa 1890–1920), featuring a vibrant cinnabar-red lacquer finish and ornate gilt-carved handles. One bucket is in excellent condition and features a rare maker's mark on the underside of the lid: "盧洪庚办" (Lu Honggeng Ban), identifying it as a documented studio piece. The second bucket shows an authentic, aged patina. Both include their original flush-sitting lids and exhibit traditional stave-built wooden construction. These are exceptional statement pieces for a sideboard or entryway.
