The action appears to function properly, and the finish shows light usage wear. This is a very nice 1954 dated Semi-auto kit build that functions and feels identical to its military counterpart. designed in 1940-43, it was intended to replace the dated but reliable 1910/30 Maxim. The SG43 used maxim belts and even can accept PKM metal belts. Comes with its correct rolling mount and shield that is able to be stood up in an anti-aircraft configuration.
