Set bears the first iteration of the hallmark used by Dansk Designs from 1954-59.

Complete six-piece service for twenty, plus two additional dinner knives and forty-two serving utensils; One hundred sixty-nine pieces total. Impressed manufacturer's mark to each element 'Dansk Design Germany'.

Very good condition. Light wear exists throughout the set showing minor fine scratches to some stainless-steel elements. A few teak handles present dry and would benefit from being oiled. Includes lidded teak storage box measuring 3 x 18.375 x 12 inches with dividers. Paper distributor?s label to underside ?Made in Denmark for IDG International Design Group?. Also includes six original boxes. Boxes show heavy wear with some missing lids, sides, and one example is only the internal cardboard tray with dividers. Set is comprised of (22) dinner knives, (20) butter spreaders, (20) dinner forks, (20) salad forks, (20) table spoons, (20) teaspoons, (2) serving spoons, (4) serving forks, (1) large serving set, (2) ladles, (12) steak knives, (3) bottle openers, (3) iced tea spoons, (1) bar knife, (6) fruit knives, (1) small steak carving knife, (5) large carving forks, and (6) large carving knives.
