Description:17" Wide x 14" Tall
Cast iron J.I. Case advertising sign featuring an eagle standing above a globe marked J.I. Case Threshing Machine Co., Racine, Wis. The design reflects early agricultural advertising imagery used by the company during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
J.I. Case was founded in 1842 and became one of the most prominent American manufacturers of threshing machines, steam engines, and later tractors. Farm equipment companies commonly used patriotic symbols such as the American eagle to convey strength, reliability, and national pride in their promotional materials.
Heavy cast iron construction with raised lettering and hand-painted detailing. Pieces of this style are often displayed in farm shops, tractor collections, garages, or agricultural décor settings.
