British Industry Interest Newspaper and Offset Printing, c.1960
An interesting group of 14 silver gelatin prints, pasted down to card, measuring between 39 x 31.5cm (smallest) and 42 x 53cm (largest), depicting various stages of the newsprinting process, including typesetting, the use of RW Crabtree printing machines, the production of broadsheets, and the final product. One image depicts the finished product of The Argus newspaper, established in Brighton, UK, in 1880, still in production today.
