The model 4797A, originally designed by Wormley for Dunbar in 1947, draws inspiration from Richard Riemerschmid's classic Jugendstil armchair showcased at the 1899 Dresden Exhibition. This design is characterized by its organic walnut frame and non-removable original teal leather seat, reflecting a blend of modern design and historical influence. The use of rich materials and sculptural form exemplifies Wormley’s commitment to craftsmanship and elegance. Original DUNBAR plaque/label on the underside.
