This wonderful cotton signature quilt is all machine pieced and hand quilted, with hand embroidered signatures and the following in the center: "Cross Roads of the Golden Rod Project Club 1936." Also hand embroidered in the center is a detailed wreath of golden rod flowers.
It measures 68" X 90" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small spots and no wear.
There is quilting around the piecework and in cable designs in the border, all at an even 7-8 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the machine stitched binding is solid green, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of the Beloit, Kansas area.
