Description

This FOLKY album quilt is all hand and machine appliqued, with elaborate hand embroidered accents. It is likely a commemorative family quilt, with various religious, military, zodiac, map, and other symbols, dates and words. At least three states are represented: California, Missouri, and Wisconsin. The latest date I could find was "1976."
It measures 64" X 78" and is in very good condition, with the occasional small, inconspicuous spot and no wear. There is sparse straight line quilting throughout at 6 stitches to the inch.
The back is a 70's green fern printed fabric, and the batting is of medium thickness. There are tabs at the top of the back, making this ready to be used as a wall hanging.
