A nest of 5 miniature or child’s Staffordshire oval trays. The trays all have an overall blue and white “floral” sheet pattern, which I have not been able to identify by name. There are no maker’s marks on any of the pieces. The little platters range in size from 3 ¼” x 2 3/8”, 3 5/8” x 2 5/8”, 3 7/8” x 3”, 4 3/8” x 3 1/4" and 5” x 3 ¾”. All are in very fine to excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or restorations. In my almost 30 years of dealing in Staffordshire Ceramics, I have only seen 1 other nest of small platters.
