The Han Horse -Chinese antiques- on Lexington Avenue was our business in New York, as well as at national antique shows, for over 20 years. This stylish mid 19th century bamboo side table with pine top was hand-picked by us in person in China from a top-tier vendor, which is what we did for all of our pieces 3 times per year. Lines proportions and design are always harmonious and inspiring with these Chinese pieces from 18th and 19th century.
It is from Shanxi, China. The pine wood top has black lacquer from the time period, and was finished with a clear Chinese lacquer about 20 years ago, that seals everything in and really protects the piece.

Condition Notes: Good condition. One very small section of bamboo trim on the side of the table about a 2 inch section is missing. It can be seen one of the photographs. Generally not noticeable and not visible depending on placement of the piece. It has some fine scratching and wear on the top from modern day use but again not generally noticeable.
