Cambridgeshire, England, 866-1067 AD. Oval form, size 8 1/4. 1.3mm at the bottom swelling to 2.3mm at the top. Upper half roped, now well worn from decades of wear a thousand years ago! The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom's sword.
