Title: Oil painting Morning ringing of church bells Oksana Kalenyuk Description: NoAAA4707The oil painting on cardboard titled "Morning Ringing of Church Bells" captures the serene yet lively atmosphere of a countryside morning, where the chime of bells echoes through the lush greenery. The composition is rich in movement, created through expressive impasto brushstrokes, lending depth and energy to the scene. The viewer is immediately drawn into the landscape, following the winding path leading to the distant church, partially obscured by tall trees and vibrant foliage. The foreground of the painting is filled with textured layers of green, yellow, and hints of purple, depicting a sunlit meadow bathed in the morning glow. The artist's use of color variations suggests a play of light and shadow across the field, where the dampness of early dew meets the warmth of the rising sun. The thick, dynamic brushwork enhances the feeling of nature's untamed beauty, where grass and wildflowers grow freely. In the middle ground, a group of people is seen walking along the path, their small, indistinct forms painted with dashes of red, blue, and earthy tones. They appear to be making their way toward the church, possibly for morning prayer, their presence adding a human connection to the tranquil scenery. The path they follow winds gently upward, drawing the eye toward the focal point of the composition-the distant church. Nestled among tall trees, the church stands as a symbol of tradition and spirituality. Its structure is partially hidden behind the rich foliage, yet its blue-gray walls shimmer subtly against the background of rolling hills and a sky tinged with soft pastels. The impressionistic rendering of the bell tower gives the illusion of movement, as though the bells are actively ringing, their sound reverberating across the landscape. The background consists of rolling hills painted in deep blues and purples, blending harmoniously with the sky. The sky itself is a mixture of pale yellow, blue, and pink, indicating the first light of day spreading across the horizon. Wisps of clouds are rendered with thick strokes of white and peach, adding to the dreamy quality of the scene.
