About the artist: Nevkritiy Denis Nikiforovich (1895 - 1970) - artist, heir to the Kiev restoration and art school.
Having been born in with. Matviyivka of Poltava region. In 1919, graduated from the Kiev Art College; s 1937r. participant in the workshops.
Having taken part in the restoration of paintings of vidomikh maystriv (Polnova, Vasnetsova. Shishkina and in.); in 1946 vidnoviv strongly injured during the hour viyni picture Aivazovsky "Pushkin on the birch of the sea."
And also having taken part in the restoration of the Andreevsky Church near metro Kyiv.
