About the artist: Born on October 14, 1923 in the village of Zolotarivtsi (now Sumy region). Graduated from Kharkov Art Institute (1954). Teachers by specialty - G. Tomenko, P. Kotov. Member of the CPSU. Member of World War II. He worked in the industry of easel painting and graphics. The main works: "K. Marx and F. Engels at work "(1955); "After the Flight" (1958); "Among Friends" (1963 - 1964); "Pilot-athlete V. Tursunkhodzhaeva" (1965); "After the assault" (1969) and others. He participated in exhibitions: republican since 1955, all-union since 1958, foreign since 1956. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals. He died on April 23, 1984.
