Title: Oil painting Warm touch of light Oksana Ivanyuk Description: NoAAA5413The Oil painting on canvas titled "Warm touch of light" captures the essence of a rural landscape illuminated by the tender glow of sunlight, transforming an ordinary village scene into a celebration of color and atmosphere. The canvas is alive with bold, impasto brushstrokes that convey not only the visual impression of the countryside but also its texture, rhythm, and emotional resonance. At the heart of the composition, small houses with red and ochre roofs emerge from a tapestry of vibrant foliage, their presence both modest and integral to the surrounding nature. The architecture, rendered in simple yet expressive forms, is enveloped by trees and fields that seem to pulse with warmth, suggesting the embrace of light that gives the painting its name. The play of color is striking. The artist juxtaposes luminous yellows and golden oranges with deep greens, violets, and earthy browns, creating a dynamic dialogue between light and shadow. These tones evoke the fleeting moment of late afternoon, when the sun bathes the earth in golden warmth, and every surface seems to radiate with life. The violet and pink hues in the sky introduce a softness that tempers the vibrancy of the earth below, while the darker strokes in the foreground provide depth and contrast, grounding the composition and inviting the eye to travel across its layers. The result is a scene that feels both vibrant and serene, alive with movement yet held in the stillness of light. The brushwork is deliberately expressive, thickly applied, and textured, making the surface of the painting tactile and energetic. The impasto technique gives each element-trees, fields, rooftops-a sculptural quality, as if carved from color itself. This materiality emphasizes the artist's intention to capture not just what the eye sees, but what the heart feels: the warmth of light touching the earth, the whisper of nature's quiet beauty, the resonance of harmony between people and land. In the middle distance, a hint of figures or animals is suggested, adding subtle signs of life that enhance the intimacy of the scene without distracting from its overall tranquility.
