About the artist: Ukrainian painter.
Kerimova Elena Aleksandrovna was born in 1925 in Kharkov.
In 1941-1945 she studied at the Azerbaijan Art School, from 1946 to 1949 - at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Repin under D. Mochalsky and G. Ryazhsky.
In 1949 she entered, and in 1952 she graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute, where she studied in the workshop of S. Grigoriev.
Since 1945 he has been taking part in art exhibitions.
Kerimova E.A. - Honored Artist of Azerbaijan since 1982.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1983.
The artist's works are kept in private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
