Vintage Large Rhinestone Bee Brooch, Joan Rivers, 1990's. Gold tone. Dark gold tone brooch with a mix of green, amber shades of rhinestones, some with aurora borealis finish and a mix of sizes too. The brooch is appx. 2-1/3" by 1-5/8". The rhinestones from 2mm to 8.5mm at the center of the bees back and that has a halo of amber AB rhienstones around it. The center stone is bezel-set. There are a mix of stones in the wings and rounded back of the bee that are are between 2mm to 5mm with green bezel-set eyes and 2.5mm amber stones in the head. Heavy bent legs. Locking clasp the length of the body and signed with the Joan River's maker's mark. Very clean, all stones present, and very good condition. (w93023.2X2 SS13711 J LD 4/9/24).
