Vintage Rhinestone & Cabochon Butterfly Brooch, 1960's-1970's. Gold tone butterfly with pave set clear rhienstones set in the wings and green adn red oval and round cabochons set higher int he wings with the upper wings having a green rhinestone set on the round ends of the green cabochons. The green cabochons are acrlic as is the pink in the torso. the red round stones in the back wings and the peachock pear shaped stone in the torso seem to be glass. The brooch is appx. 2.25" wide and 1.75" tall. The green cabochons are appx. 10mm by 7mm and the round red stones are appx. 6mm. The pink stone in the torso is appx. 10mm by 7mm with the peacock stone beng 11mm by 7mm. Aurora Borealis rhienstone eyes and red rhinestones in the antenna - one was missing and it has been replaced. Locking clasp. It is not signed by the maker. Very good condition. W31624.7 SS13550.
