Antique Silver Filigree Butterfly Brooch, 2-3/8" wide and 1.25" tall. .800 Silver, 1930's, C-Clasp. Tiered design. Two large front wings with raised edges and recessed fligree work and two back wings. This one is a little more unusual in that the bot has a very pointed face with textured back-half of the body. Two antenna with beads at the tips. C-Clasp. It tests as silver but most of these are .800 silver and not .925 however it is not marked and tests as silver; listing it as .800 to be on the safe side. Weight is 8.10 gr. Not signed by the maker. Very good condition. Oxidation that can be polished or cleaned. (W.12222.2X2 SS6445 J LD 1/31/22).
