Description
A lot of these rings include themes from WWII, signet rings, pinky rings, intaglios, cameos, initials, and even popular sports of the time like bowling. All of which I have antiqued and preferred them to look worn to death, simply because men used to own so few pieces and the jewelry that they did have had so much value that they would never take it off.
When I think back on these times that shaped our great nation and when I wear one of these rings, it's like I'm honoring everything America stands for and the all the people that fought to give us our freedom.
Ring two of this collection:
This sterling silver World War II United States Army Ring was cast out of an old setting that was bought from a guy that I know who uses his metal detector to find lost items at the beach, outdoors, and in the sewer.
Not to worry, this one is brand new and hand cast, then finished with an antique polish to give it that old worn to death look, that I love!
The face measures 16 mm by 12 mm, it's a really worn down Eagle just like on the back of a dollar with wheat in left talon and arrows in the right one; the sides of the ring are two eagles with their wings spread faces opposite directions as if they are holding the oval face up.
Upon ordering please let me know of your size, and if you'd like antique, satin, or polished finish.
All Alberto Juan jewelry comes in a protective Velvet black bag also shown in some listings.
