Description

Cal. 4 bore. NSN. Bbl. 34". Brass bead front sight. Rear of bbl. has Belgian "E LG" Liege proof but gun otherwise appears unmarked. Balance of metal has bright finish. European hardwood stock with bottom mounted sling swivels. Button tipped ramrod present. CONDITION: stock shows some light drying cracks around butt, some minor chips, scattered dings, handling marks & scratches. Bands, buttplate & trigger guard are a dull gray color with a couple spots of light pitting & some oxidation. Bbl. & lock assembly are mostly bright with areas turning gray, scattered light oxidation, handling & operational marks. Action is sluggish but functional when hand cycled. Very good bore. (01-27994/MJC). ANTIQUE. $800-1,200.
