Description
Douglas Miles, a Native American artist from the San Carlos Apache Tribe in the United States, is an artist, photographer, curator, writer, muralist, public speaker, and film director. While Miles works in multiple mediums, he is also a social practitioner and founder of Apache Skateboards, and recently collaborated with international streetwear brand Zumiez. Miles made "Forced Removal Series: Geronimo with Crosses" in 2023 using a vintage suitcase with spray paint and appliqué. The suitcase signifies the Apache's continual forced removal from their homelands, so they lived out of small suitcases. Measuring 26 x 18 x 8 inches, this sculptural work is unique. It is signed and in very good condition. We do not offer in-house shipping but you can arrange your own by contacting one of these four trusted shippers who can deliver your artworks to you safely and fully insured.
